Trophy Tails Equine Injury Boots

Made to measure equine injury boots help to keep bandages and wraps clean and offer an extra layer to prevent horses chewing at the bandage causing them to become undone and revealing the injury.

You can safely walk your horse out without the worry of splashes or sand spoiling the bandages and saturating the wound.

This is something we've added to the website as we have done a lot of these by special request via our custom order services.

We do not recommend boots for horses known to chew boots as they could be damaged or removed however they would offer a layer in top of the bandages.

Depending on where you injury in or what your vet recommends we can offer advise on fabrics and styles suitable for your horses injury or recovery from surgery.

We offer made to measure:-

Lycra socks to keep flies off and allow wounds to breathe freely (great for summer months) without risk of fibres getting transferred.

Light weight waterproof boots are great for use all year round especially over summer lessening the risk of overheating the leg. This is waterproof, fairly light weight featuring rip stop properties, breathable and machine washable without the need for reproofing. It is also resistant to oils and staining.  

Ultimate waterproof boots are made from our durable marine grade fabric with is waterproof, ripstop, breathable and machine washable without the need for reproofing. It is also resistant to oils and staining.

Protective fleece wrap boots are available with a range of padding depending on your horses needs. We can also offer customised padding to protect particular areas of your horses leg for example: "extra padding around left of canon".

We offer a variety of straps, elastic support bands (strength & widths), trims such as high visibility tapes and a range of wonderful colours to make recovery time a little more bright!

We offer priority service on all injury boots. One style does not suit all, we will design the boots to your requests and made the patterns from your horses measurements.  Costs vary depending on requirements, prices start from £25. Discounts are offered on multiple boots ordered.
